Source priority

Central Elections Committee for date, lists and letters. Party publications for programs. Knesset and government records for laws, votes and appointments. Reliable reporting only when no primary source exists, clearly labelled.

Verification status

The election date (October 27, 2026) and approved lists have not yet been verified against an official Central Elections Committee publication.

How we calculated

Compatible = 1, partly = 0.5, incompatible = 0. An issue without verified evidence is not counted at all. Skips and “doesn’t matter” are not counted. Question 8 sets the weight of the women’s-representation criterion. Question 12 is shown separately and does not affect the score. Ties use a fixed, published display order.

Ranking threshold

A list is ranked only with at least 5 comparable issues and coverage of at least 60% of the questions you answered.

Methodological notes

• 1. Which is closest to your position?

  “I don’t mind who” is not a midpoint stance, so it carries no weight in the score.

• 2. Can Arab parties be part of the government?

  Support for specific partners must be distinguished from a blanket stance toward all Arab parties.

• 7. Should Haredim serve in the IDF or do national service?

  The second answer means conditional readiness, not necessarily a permanent exemption.

• 8. How important is it to you that women have real power in the party?

  This answer sets the weight of the women’s-representation criterion. “Doesn’t matter” removes the criterion; it never rewards excluding women.

• 11. Should separating women and men be prohibited at public events and services funded by the state?

  The question is about a prohibition: “Yes” means supporting a ban on separation.

• 12. Is it important to you that the party includes people from your group?

  This choice expresses a representation preference, not a verified identity. It is reported separately and does not affect the match score.
